He has traveled to over 120 countries in his life. And many more countries are to follow. The goal is to have traveled to every country in the world. His travel career began relatively late. It wasn't until he was 30 that he really started traveling around the world with a backpack! It's never too late to take the first step, because every journey begins with the first step...

Growing up in a conservative home, characterized by traditional values, the path in life seems to be mapped out early on: complete a solid education, pursue a traditional career, start a family, serve the performance society. Hard work, order, security and stability are the foundations of his origins; recognition can be received almost exclusively through performance. In the best sense: a traditional lifestyle. He fulfills this and initially ignores the quiet call that lures him into the wide world and into freedom. Until one day in 2004 he decided to break out of his preordained life and go on a world tour on his motorcycle.
After a year he returns to Germany. He resumes his old life - and yet something is completely different. Enriched by many experiences, adventures and insights, he now plans time out not only in his challenging everyday job. As a sabbatical and time-out consultant, he advises people. He coaches you on all questions relating to the topic of 'time out'.
